Inspiration for The Object Studio is grounded in the natural world and its abundant supply of natural materials. Colors and textures found in nature inspire these beautiful objects, giving them their lighthearted, airy personality. Let these wonderful objects inspire you in your daily life. The Object Studio is an independent, home based design studio located in Oregon City, Oregon run by Lauren Goding. She has degrees in both Studio Art and Graphic Design, and is a passionate maker of pieces for your home, life, or business. While studying at Appalachian State University, she was awarded a full scholarship to attend an alternative printmaking summer intensive at Penland School of Craft and was invited to take part in a month long artist residency program at the Beijing Studio Center. Between moving from North Carolina to Oregon, Lauren worked at the Beijing Studio Center.
Her passions include learning Chinese, all things paper, making art, collecting objects, clean & creative design, and adventuring in the outdoors. With such a wide range of interests, her work is held together with a cohesive style and concept based on natural colors, raw materials, and a clean sense of design.
